Well, we jumped on the slim bandwagon! Honestly, I had avoided making slime because it was my understanding that some of the ingredients weren’t completely safe. Did you know you don’t have to use borax to make awesome slim? Well apparently my husband did! Jasper and his dad started making slime together earlier this year and Jasper loves it!

This week we made some “Halloween” slime. Which essentially means, it’s orange and we throw so fake creepy crawlies into it. Of course Jasper loved it and it’s super easy to make!

To make the safe slime simply take a bottle of your chosen color of glitter glue, dump all the glitter glue into a bow. Mix in 1/2 cup of water, 1/2 tsp of baking soda, and 1 tbsp of contact solution with the glue. Mix until the slime easily comes away from your hands. If the slime is too sticky, add up to one more tbsp of contact solution. The slime should be sticky, but easily release from your hands. Mix in your chosen creepy crawlies and Ta-DA, Halloween slime!

Jasper enjoyed increasing the creepy crawlies in slime, scratching the slime, making spaghetti slime, and more!

Note, if you are using white glue instead of glitter glue you may need to half the water and double the contact solution.
